Looking to the group for some creative ways to lift a big ol' radial up into place?
The top of the radial will need to be lifted up to about 6'8". So... the hoist that I use will need to go up to at least 7', if not 8'. Looking at the Harbor Freight engine hoists... it doesn't look like they will extend that far.
Have any of you had to be creative in lifting a 500 lb engine into place... that high up?
Maybe a block and tackle hooked onto the ceiling joist with additional support from below. I'd need to go up about 16' if I did.
Thanks,
Jerry
