• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Gday Chaps. Saturday 25 of April is ANZAC day here in Australia and this one is the one hundredth years when Australian and New Zealand army corp troops went ashore on the Gallipoli Peninsular in Turkey and were made into mince meat trying to attain high ground and push the Turks out and they came within twenty five yards but were beaten back. This went on for eight months, the lines were a grenade throw from each other and the stupid English tactics of going over the top killed eight thousand men. After the eight months the whole army was withdrawn from under the Turks nose without the loss a single soul. Both Australia and Turkey see this moment in time as the birth of their nations and now the two nations have great respect for each other which stems from the respect the opposing troops had for each other.Karmal Attaturk Turkey's first President assured Australian mothers that their fallen sons were now sons of Turkey and will be remembered so. Cheers Ross
