My new to me Pitts was delivered today by my friend Chad Graveson. He made to PA from Big Sandy Montana in 2.5 days courtesy of some fine airmanship and excellent tailwinds. He left out with my Eagle Monday morning and dropped it off in Montana got in the Pitts and came right back. He lost one day to low ceilings, pretty incredible round trip. It serial number 1001, Pitts S-2S, N260TC. It was owned originally by Tom Collier of IAC fame. I'll fly it for the first time Tomorrow, I've been working on this deal for quite a few months and I'm happy to say it's here finally. Thanks to all who helped me with questions and advice along the way. I attached a photo below, it weighs 1115 pounds empty and has a Lycon engine swinging a whirlwind 3 blade.
