• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

It's still very early in the 2015 season, but BFers are kicking ass at contests so far - 'CAKevin' has won Sportsman TWICE now, including again this past weekend...Kevin, I won't even say it! 'Ssmdive' Ron won Sportsman this past weekend at Sebring. Sammy Mason used to be here, but he won Advanced over the weekend against a bunch of monoplanes. At the NC Boogie this past weekend, 'Acronerd' Paul won Primary in his first contest in his Acro Sport I. 'Acroeric' won the first flight in Sportsman but let a tin can RV-8 slip just past him in the end. BTW, I really like RVs (used to own one), and glad to see a great pilot show what they can do. 'Flyrite' Tony (mono-driver) succumbed to the "Unfair" advantage of my Pitts in Advanced. Sorry Tony, couldn't resist. :D 'Acropilotbret' also flew the Boogie in Intermediate, but I think he's still rusty from too much time spent going to pancake breakfasts. :D Actually, he flew very well, just got his head up his ass in the Unknown. :)

So...all of this must be attributable in part to our kick ass acro forum and community here! ;)
