Whenshe arrived we noticed the crankcase seal on the front of the engine spinning with the crank-shaft. It's not seized onto the shaft and can be held with a finger to keep it from turning while turning the prop. Oil on the front of the engine is minimal (if any) and the breather tube is clear.
Is it possible to ease the seal out (how) without damaging it, clean it and the case seal-seatwith MEK and pliaseal it back in? I'm hopeful that the spinning didn't cause the seal-seat to become oversized... yes-no-fogetaboutit?
