I bought one of those tubing notchers from Harbor Freight. Got it on sale for $39.99.....
I tried to notch 7/8" tubing and upon setting it up, I noticed that the tubing clamp was not properly centered. Took it back and got another. Same thing....
I shimmed the tubing holder away from the base 1/16" and it brought it on center.
If you buy, check yours before you use it.
