Alright brain trust, I have have a fairly magnetized fuse so much so that I can't swing my compass. Since all the the welding work I did and the blast and powder coat I had done it has gotten better such that the compass points places other than north now but after several nights wraping wires around my tubes and messing around with coiled wires and the AC side of my tig. I haven't had any lasting luck de magnatizing my frame such that I can get my compass within 10 deg. It has improved marginally.
Has anyone else had these problems? If so did a regular de-gaussing unit work on it? How did you fix it?
