I flew the Skybolt (IO-360) Sunday and upon starting had a couple of backfires at idle. Ran it up and it seemed to clear. Flew for 0.6. This morning, as I was preflighting I noted blue fuel stain on the between cylinders on the right side. I cleaned and ran it up again. When I opened the cowl, fuel was leaking out of the fuel line connection to the spider distro
.pretty decent flow. Turned out the fitting was loose. Tightened it up and ran it up
no backfire, no leaking. My question is the fire sleeve. Is there a danger that the material on the inside of the sleeve absorbed fuel and its a future fire danger?
