Hey all.

I'm applying finishing tapes. I'm using bias tape on a aero-balanced elevator. The bias tape isn't long enough between seams to complete the entire curve around the outside edge. Knowing the tape will reduce in width under tension, is there a trick to help make a splice?

I added a shot of another RNF to illustrate the tail.

Thanks.
Dan
