I read through the rule changes every year, many of the rules changes make sense to help the direction of the organization or to help things flow more smoothly. I encourage everyone to read through the rule changes.
This is the first rule change I am NOT in support of:
PROPOSAL 2017-16

Subject: Rename Sportsman Category
Background
There are a few pilots who avoid using the term Sportsman in favor
of Sportsperson. Sportsperson is a mouthful so a better gender neutral suggestion would be simply Sports.
Proposed Changes
Rename the Sportsman category the Sports category
I think we should leave the category alone and call it sportsman..If your offended by the non gender neutral name, your about to really be offended when you show up!
