Hello all,
Thank's for this great and so educating forum of biplane enthusiasts.
For the time, I fly a SV4 and a Pitts S2a... and lot of RC models...
My dream biplane is the Jungmeister. 2 years ago I had the chance to find a near completed Jungmeister airframe in Poland, but no engine nor registration... It has been built by Janusz Karasiewicz, who founded the "Historical Aircraft Services" factory, producing Bucker Jungmann from the nineties. But Janusz was killed in a plane accident in 2006. At that time, the plane was fitted with a 6 cyl. Lom M337 engine and a variable pitch propeller, but not yet completed. As the engine has been sold in between, I found a overhauled one in Canada. Now, the plane is technically ready. We are still working on the registration process. I hope to start the test flights in april, when the weather would be more open cockpit minded...
I like the inline engine profile which is a nice tribute to the 1935 Jungmeister D-EVEO prototype equipped by a 6 cyl. Hirth H506 engine.
