• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Guys...i just recieved a sample clearinspection plate from Fred Cabanas and told him i'd put the word out he has them for sale.

Fred is an Airshow pilot, aerobatic instructor, mechanic, and unlimited race pilot along with a career in the rides business. He is based in Key West.

Fred wanted to let everyone know he had these made because he got tired of the "store brand" getting yellow and cracking. These are made of polycarbonate and he says will do neither. The part is of good quality and are being sold for about half what the regular supplier charges. His price is $12.50 each.

A picture of the plate follows this post. The cd case is just to make the part show up in the photo.

You can contact Fred Cabanas at [email protected] and phone 305-296-5720 and see his website at www.cabanasaerobatics.com

I have bought parts from Fred and was really impressed with both the parts and his helpfulness.
