Jimmy Franklins Waco with a Ranger V12!

I just read recently that Jimmy was thinking of putting a Turbo charged Ranger V12 in his Waco. I don't think it ever got past the idea stage??? Was any drawings done or engine mounts etc? Did he have a engine? I love to know the history of some of these things and with the Waco UPF being one of my favorites, Jimmy being a hero of mine and Rangers being awesome...id love to hear from someone that knows more of this project before he went with the P&W.
