• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $29.95/year to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

wow !... just when I was about to post a question here about the most suitable headset for my S2A, I see your ad. I have a couple of BOSE 20 that work well in my other aircraft but not very well in the Pitts, especially if i have two going at once. i also notice the dont work too well on my Savage cub with the door open. My BOSE have Oregon Aero leather muffs on the microphones but still dont work as well as they should. I do have a clairity aloft, which is great for local aeros, but my ears are getting 'older' and would prefer something that kills most of all the BG noise when i transition the Pitts back and forth between Canada and the USA a few times a year... those 10 hours or so are killers.

I was told that lightspeed work better in a noisier environment .. interesting that you are advertising some. do you have any experience or recommendations ? I am poised to purchase.

The Zulu 3 should work great... Much better than the Bose for loud airplanes and wind.
