Are engine mounts interchangeable in the Lycoming family? Plan to use a Lycoming O-360 or possibly IO-360 series on my Skybolt . I would like to weld the bushings /fire wall spools onto the air frame now .
Can this be done without having the engine? Plan to buy an engine mount and use the dimensions off it to place my spools.
So my question is are the Dynafocal engine mounts for the Lycoming 180hp to 200 hp IO-360 universal and will they also hold a Lycoming O-360 ?
