Can someone explain the Free Unknown design process? Reading through the Nationals updates on the IAC site, I'm confused. It seems to suggest the pilots use the "bank" of figures and design their own sequences. But looking at the posted Unlimited Free Unknowns I and II, there are three Unknown I sequences, and only two Unknown II sequences. I assume the pilots select which one they want to fly. Who arranges these sequences for all to choose from? This would suggest each pilot is not free to arrange their own? Is Advanced done the same way? I see the figures in Advanced, but have not seen any posted sequences.

BTW, congrats to Sammy in his stock airframe S-1S for hanging so well with the 6-cylinder mono-ships in Advanced. Now if I could just lose about 50 lbs. and pump up my motor, my plane would fly like Sammy's. :) Patrick Clark's "S-1T" is not exactly stock, but still good to see another 4-cylinder Pitts doing so well. I think John O. is on here. Looks like he flew well also.
