Hey gang!

Our Aerotek S1S "factory kit" has sprung a leak above the rear bung. The builder experienced this issue shortly after the 1995 plane was completed and applied fiberglass mat and some sort of yellow resin. The patch resently started seeping so we have removed the oversized patch in search of root cause. The attached photo shows the crack beginning at the seam and going veritical. Our short term plans are applying a 3M AC-240 fuel tank adhesive around then effected area until winter annnual.

I'm inclined to change tanks this winter. However, I want to review my options:

1.) Stay with original tank and use AC-240 long term?
2.) Weld in doubler plate?
3.) Install new tank? Any recommendations here?

Any constructive ideas welcomed!!! Mr. Rose.........🤔🤔
