The Royal Aero Club UK run the Schneider Trophy in Solent Water between Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight.

On the 23rd September 2023; G-IIIM a Stolp Starduster One piloted by Ex-RAF Flt. Lt. Bob Johnson gained 1st place.

The race is a time trial handicapped 2 laps of a course.
