Quick question.

On AN fuel system pipe thread connections, what is standard practice for assembling these connections?

Of particular interest is the connection between an AN867 aluminum welding flange to a AN816 aluminum pipe thread to nipple.

Teflon tape is absolutely out.

On aluminum, galling is a big concern.

Permatex has several options for thread sealant. Would any of these be preferred?

I couldn't find anything in AC43-13.

Thanks,

Ward
