Cut the streamlined tubing last week and fitted up the cabane. This weekend, welded everything up.
On the right side, there is the removable cross-member to allow installation of the fuel tank. There are 0.100" tabs welded to the streamline tubing to attach the removable streamline member.
Should these tabs be welded on one side, or on both sides? Somewhere I thought I saw a note that these should be welded on both sides. I can't seem to find that note. Can anyone offer advise?
I will likely build this similar to the firebolt plans with a bushing installed in the streamline at the top, and squish the streamline to the tab at the bottom.
Thanks,
Ward
PS - Anyone want to see the construction photos?
