• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. A few weeks ago I saw an S1-S with smaller wheel pants than usual. They were only about 30" long and fit perfectly over a pair of 5" Lamb tires.
I haven't been able to locate a source. Any ideas?
I don't have a good pic but they looked like typical Pitts or Skybolt wheel pants but a bit thinner and much shorter.
THanks,
Bart
