I have a SD Too project that’s been on the back burner for a while (I bought it as a half finished project a while back, knowing I’d want to get to it later.) As I plan how to go about the finishing tasks, I realize that I’ve never actually been in one. Now that I think of it, I’ve not seen one fly except in the movies, as they say. Not that it necessarily is required knowledge for finishing a project, but in the past I’ve found it to be “awkward” building or buying an airplane type I’ve never actually flown in.
Wondering if there are any Starduster Too fliers in the Wisconsin area, or within a few states away, that would be willing to take me for a quick ride if we could work out the logistics? I’d be willing to make it worth the while as much as the feds allow with experimentals and such… doesn’t need to be dual, just a look at the SD2 flying and what it’s like.
