I'd like to fabricate a simple camera mount for my small action cam. So far the only place the camera can be mounted is the handhold on the top wing. I'd like to put a mount on the vertical stabilizer and was thinking of fabricating something like this and attach it using the bolt that connects the top forward wire from the horizontal stab to the vertical stab.
What would be the way to remove the bolt and attach the mount? If I note the number of threads showing on each wire and loosen them so there is little tension, could I then just remove the bolt, install the mount, reinstall the bolt and tighten the wires to previous threads?
thanks for any advice.
Best regards,Brad
