• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

It's come down to it. The airplane has been moved from the shop at my house to the airport of intended departure.
After 26 years of head scratching, finger burning, glue mixing, staple pulling, hole drilling, rib stitching, bill paying,(lots of that) it's time to make some noise and I've decided to take my friends at the Biplane form along for the ride.
I will post all of the trials and tribulations of the certification process as they develop in hopes it will help others to avoid my mistakes as I make them.
I don't claim to be an authority on the subject, this will be my first time, but if you follow long this may serve as a road map for those of you approaching this glorious milestone.
Now like a proud Pappa I must post some pics of my new steed as she sits now down at Swaid's field, 2GA2.
