• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

I'm sorry to be so ungrateful over someone else's hard work. But there really needs to be a better way for acro pilots to stay informed and connected. Ever since discovering the Exploder I have both benefited from it's network and nearly driven myself mad from being kicked off dozens of times due to "bounces" and other electronic infractions about which I know nothing. I've made entries through the Exploder only to wait days to see them post-I may as well have written one on paper, corked it inside a bottle and tossed it in the sea. The message boards we used back in the early '90's were more functional. Maybe it's just an incompatibility with Yahoo!, my email client. But why? Nowhere else in my digital life is this a problem. We're not trading nuclear secrets. Does communicating with other pilots really need to be this hard?
