    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

I hurt my knee last week. Nothing special there, but on the day when I couldn't put any weight on it a friend called and asked if I wanted a ride in a "Stearman". He works for a local TV station and somebody had dropped out of a PR ride and he needed a suitably keen passenger. I had to decline because I didn't think I would be able to get in it. To make a long story short, the Stearman wasn't a "Stearman"-it turned out to be Gene Soucy and his "Showcat" Forget the knee, if I had known I would have rented a crane to get in! THE PAIN. really began then as I banged my head against the wall.
