Wedding bells and biplane(s)
It doesnt get much more romantic than that! This beautiful young bride called the airport and asked if she could use my Smith for her wedding pictures. I tried to explain that this is no Proton and not all that camera-friendly. I never met her before, but who could resist such a lovely young lady. So we had a little excitement at the ole grass field. It was fun watching the professional photographer, his assistant and the makeup artist do their work. The photographer assured me he could fix all the blemishes on my airplane. (Im still waiting.)
[FONT="]Those that happen to notice the biplane in the background might even notice the right gear is silver. Thats not paint, its bare 4130. When she called, my Smith was up on a wing stand with a new gear being fabricated. I was up most of the night getting the make shift gear welded so as not to spoil her day. But, you know what; it was worth it just to see her pretty smile. [/FONT]
