Where to buy small amounts of "High Quality" velcro with adhesive backing?

Over the years I've bought stuff at local big box stores that was marginally useful. What type do people typically use for attaching things like seat cushions, or more important stuff to A/C? What backing adheres the best to aluminum or painted surfaces, and lasts the longest?

Also looking for online sources that sell smaller amounts but still have a decent selection. Answers other than ACS, etc. are what I'm looking for.
