Composite VS alum
ok so im about to buy a S1S and im going to need to put a prop on it.
The plane will be used for 95% acrobatic use. The plane im buying has a Alum prop that is pitched for MPH not VS. This is a fixed pitch prop.
So the question is to everyone. What prop do you use, do you like or not like it, have you flown the "other types" or just your prop you have. What im looking to get is a composite prop if W&B allows me to. And also one last thing, what is everyone's pitch there using and do you wish you went different.
I would like to only buy a prop once so im looking for all the experts advice on this one
thanks a ton like always!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Plane specs
850ISH LBS
IO 360 was 180HP
now around 200 with the mods
ECI fully built motor
8.5s pulled out and 9.5 pistons installed at overhaul
ColdAir intake
4 into 1
Ill be keeping the RPM under 2900 RPM most of the time
