Hey all.

I'm going to be recovering a 1930 Waco RNF. I am starting to think about which process. I've used polyfiber in the past with polytone finish. I'm comfortable with Polybrush and Polyspray...but i'd call myself a novice with the spraygun.

I'm tempted to stay with Polytone because it seems so easy to work with. It sounds like Aerothane can get a bit tricky to control. Ranthane has also been suggested. While i wouldn't think of painting an Eagle or Pitts with Polytone, it seems appropriate to me for antiques, cubs, etc.

I'm wondering how others see it. I'd hate to find out that i've devalued my plane significantly by not going with a really brilliant finish...but probably stand a better chance of doing my best work using Polytone.

Anyone want to offer an opinion?
