I'm not familiar with this product or GPS in general, but are they still supported for map updates etc? I can't really find an answer on Bendix's website.

I found it, looks like it's $179 for a subscription.

Nice units for the price but old tech. now and not being upgraded. Rather discontinued, however I have the original AV8 and like it a lot.

For outdated tech I will stick with my Magellan 315. It was 55 bucks four years ago.

I love the old magellan 315 too. Found it perfect in the Pitts. The display that shows track, bearing, gs and ete in huge letters was perfect.

They are nice units and are 7" sunlight readable touch screen. How is that old technology? You touch any airport on the screen and the info will pop up. Bendix will support the units for at least 5 more years. They have ram mounts, 2 batteries, chargers etc. I only have a few left and these will be the last of them. I got the last units Bendix released. If anyone wants one let me know because they will be gone in a couple of days.
