Jeff Skiles, co-pilot of the "Miracle on the Hudson" flight, will be the guest of honor at the grand opening of the Northern Illinois Aviation Resource Center Hangar from 7 a.m. to noon May 19 at the Poplar Grove Airport, 11619 Illinois 76, Poplar Grove.

Skiles will give a presentation about EAA’s history and his Hudson River experience. There will be a demonstration of remote-controlled airplanes and hot air balloon rides.
