Aileron cove rubbing

6 months ago I brought a Pitts S1 from Chicago IL to Sydney, Australia. It has 30% hinged ailerons and as soon as it was assembled the bottom left aileron leading edge was rubbing in the cove. Just recently I've noticed the top right one doing the same.

I wonder if it has to do with the humidity of Sydney compared to the dryness of Chicago causing expansion in the wood?

Anyone have similar experience?
