Extra Engine Parts
I have four O-290-D standard steel cylinders that have been honed with new valve guides and seats installed I think they have been faced/ground but do not know if they are correct for the new valves? I suppose I could hand lap several and find out if they seat properly. Also all of the springs and shims are in a coffee can with some extra parts as well as keepers, and not sure just what the extra parts are for? I think shims for perhaps a different engine, or to increase spring tension. so I need someone that has done all of this before, to check and assemble the cylinders. I have always done the Gibson Channel Chrome Cylinders in the past for my engine cylinder work. The cost of shipping cylinders might be a factor also, just wondering? And if some one does or has friends on the Forum that do cylinders.

I wanted some good cylinders, as serviceable O-290 cylinders are not that easy to come by and to have an extra set, I also have new pistons and rings for these cylinders. I can take and post pictures if need be.

Any thoughts and comments would be much appreciated. Dave
