Due to a long story we had to remove the 810-S oil strainer fitting and put a T in it’s place for the quick drain. We are running an oil filter on our IO 360 angle valve. After a little google research this part is definitely a part of the Christen setup. My question is what is the purpose of the screen in the inverted system and what is the possible downside of having to remove it. I included some pics and the T quick drain setup. Again we are running a oil filter. Thanks
