i know it’s not a biplane but it does have the same construction.
    All wood wing and ailerons.
Ailerons were built with balance weights ( unlike the original) and looking for a similar type construction to copy or get ideas.
Wings have 22 pages of structural engineering data, nothing on ailerons.
    Thanks,
    Dave

Contact the Culver Cadet guys. Maybe they can hook you up with some Dart info/plans; a fellow named Washburn (now deceased) used to sell plans.

Lloyd Washburn actually owned this one in the 80’s. I have all the plans on CD and they don’t show balanced ailerons. I know of two projects, just haven’t had any luck in getting in touch with them.

I have a pretty nice Dart project. It is a later model that had the flat engine. I will look at my ailerons tomorrow. I think they are balanced.

Wow, that looks beautiful. Did you find a project, or are you thinking of a scratch build?

None yet, thinking 145 or 165 Warner or maybe a Verner. They all fit in the cowl, original had the 145 Warner
