I covered thebwings of a Pitts S-2-E and about after a year there has developed a crinkle or wrinkle in the fabric at the top wing right at the point of where the fabric attaches to the center section plywood. On both sides this has occurred. I would think that as fabric ages it would get tighter.
I used the complete Stits process with Aerothane for top coat.
I guess it is the 2 inch tape over the fabric and plywood center section that
is crinkling. I did not drill holes and rib stitch through the center section plywood & outside centersection ribs.
Any suggestions on how to fix. As you know Aerothane is not easily repairable
