I saw your post on the Biplane Hangar and have a drag wire drill fixture similar to the one you described. It belongs to Craig on this forum so I can't take credit for it. If Craig says that it's OK, I can send pictures and measurements. It's a neat tool with a center guide in addition to the 2 end guides, for marking any interference between the ends.
