Ok I know there has been lots of talk about drag wires here, but somehow I came up with another question.I was reading an old Kevin Kimbal post on 2 wings about using a 13/64 bit to leave room for the clear coat inside the holes (1/64 oversize)I was surprised because the wires are pretty loose through the 13/64 holes.I had a few holes I had to angle and open up a bit more to correct a slight misalinment. I guess my question is after painting and clear coating the holes, how tight should the wires fit??Should I fill my larger holes with clear coat till the wire is snug again??Another Idea was after the wing was trammeled and the wires were tight, was to then fill around the wire with epoxy or clear coat (basicly expoying the wire in)The wires that are drilled with a 3/16 bit are very tight so I am thinking they need to be opened at least a little. Did most of you use a 13/64 bit???I am using a 1 in by 1in steal washer.ThanksBill
