Good afternoon all,
I own a 1989 Pitts S2B and the oil temp sensor line broke. The line and bulb are part of the Oil Pressure/Oil Temp gauge and is no longer available. Aviat has gone to a smaller digital version and it is approaching $1K with the adapter.
I have had and continue to have problems with the tachometers, manifold pressure gauges, etc. So it's been recommended that I bite the bullet and install the EI CGR 30P which would replace most of these gauges and give me engine monitoring capability etc. Has anyone installed one of these in a Pitts and if so how do you like it, where did you place it in the panel, and how did you configure it?
Thank you in advance,
Gary
