Hey Guys,
Just throwing this out for opinions, we had already decided that we were going to carry the aluminum panels back to just behind the pilot bay. Then we thought about going back another couple feet thinking that a removable panel just behind the pilot bay would greatly ease access to battery, reverser, smoke tank &or pump. Then we were going to put an access panel in the right rear to get to the trim bellcrank, elevator control. So my question, has anyone figured what the weight difference would be if the main fuse was done in all aluminum vs. combination of aluminum and fabric. Any other reasons to do it or not ??? Thinking out loud here.
