Buzz Aldrin is taking part in Aerobility’s Global Flight Simulator Guinness World Record Challenge…
You can be Buzz Aldrin’s co-pilot!
To really help Aerobility make the most of this, Buzz is looking for a Wing Man to share his flight - an exclusive co-pilot to share the cockpit - a ‘once only’ opportunity, for sale here on eBay!

Objective of the GFSC is to raise funds for a disabled-adapted flight simulator. Invaluable for disabled student pilots, it allows people with weak, missing or prosthetic limbs to get used to the aircraft without the expense of actual flight - meaning big savings for each disabled student. It is also used for training during unsuitable weather, and by those few whose challenging conditions preclude genuine flight. It’s a fabulous piece of kit, and compellingly realistic.
The idea behind the challenge is to make the simulator ‘pay for itself’ through a sponsored circumnavigation, with stops at ‘real’ destinations over a 22,000 mile course which, would be achievable in one of Aerobility’s real training aircraft.
Buzz is involved as one of the 100 pilots ‘flying’ a leg of our global journey, which will take ten days beginning on 5th October 2012, at Aerobility’s Blackbushe Airport, Camberley UK headquarters building.

You can be Buzz Aldrin’s right hand man!
The small print…
Opportunity includes: ‘Cockpit time’ with Buzz - around 3 amazing hours ‘one-to-one’ in Aerobility’s PA28 simulator cockpit. Our simulator is based around the real fuselage of a Piper Archer, and as it’s the cockpit section of a real aircraft, it has every switch, control and instrument. We also have 180 degree graphics, and overhead projectors which incorporate our special Global Flight Sim Challenge database.
Opportunity does not include: Travel expenses to and from Aerobility’s Blackbushe Airport, GU17 9LQ UK Headquarters (the venue for the GFSC event), accommodation expenses or any allowance for meals or refreshments. Aerobility warrants that this offer is made in good faith, and is accurate at the time of listing. Should Buzz Aldrin withdraw from the GFSC event after the eBay listing has closed, any monies paid will be refunded.
Buzz will be flying his leg of the challenge between 5th and 15th October 2012 inclusive. Bidders must ensure that they can be available at any time during this period. Details of exact date and time will be made available to the successful bidder after the item has closed. It will be the successful bidder’s responsibility to arrive at the detailed date and time.
No claim for consequential loss of any sort, including for flights, meals or accommodation will be considered.
Bidding for this opportunity signifies acceptance of these binding conditions.
