So I'm wanting to get into competition aero. My plan is to hook up with the local IAC chapter and get some time in their super decathlon and pitts. I want to build or buy my own biplane and I want to have two seats so I can take and instructor/coach with me. I was thinking about an eagle but starting to realize that it may not be very competitive and the pitts seem too expensive.

I've stumbled upon the Raven 2xs and the Skybolt. Can someone give me the pros and cons of the two?
