I'm finally to the point that I can start making physical pieces on my build, so I've got a rib jig partially laid out, and am now looking into how to create a template for the rib nose piece.
Ed was kind enough to put some measurements on the plans (which are to scale, but about 66% of real-size), but not all of them, so I'm wondering what the expectation was: would you enlarge the plans and trace over them? Draw it out by hand until it looks right? I'm trying to put it into CAD, which may be the wrong approach to this particular problem.
I just want to get something I can print out and glue to a piece of MDF, but I'm curious how someone would have done it in 1968.
