• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Our next meeting will be on Friday, October 23rd. We have a lot of great things to re-cap for 2015! A record number of Northwest folks made the trek to the US Nationals! We'll be reviewing that event, WAC in France and our contests we had this year. There will be a number of old IAC and EAA aerobatic championship items we've dug up to look at before they are shipped off to the IAC Archives.

There is a new collection of aerobatic training videos called the Academy of Aerobatics produced by former French Champion Patrick Paris. We'll have a few of those to review during the cocktail hour.

We will also be a discussion on events for 2016, we need to get our calendar fairly solid and published in November to minimize conflicting events.

The meeting will be held at Rainier Flight Service in their wonderful facility at KRNT. Fly in or drive in, the address is: 800 W Perimeter Rd, Renton WA 98057

The doors will open at 6:30pm for a social hour. Please feel free to bring along the beverage of your choice for the evening. We will have a banquet license, so feel free to bring wine or beer.

Between 7:15 and 7:30 we will open the buffet line for dinner. New York Catering will be providing the food, they work with a few other aviation clubs I attend and they have a great menu. It will be $25 per person for dinner.

In order to ensure we have the right amount of food and since space is limited, we will ask that you RSVP as soon as possible. Please contact John Smutny, call or text: 206.399.7097
