Here I am on family holiday.. Sunshine/beaches here in NZ at some remote island resort.. Lying on the beach and... Sigh.. Thinking about my electrical system. Aint it sad? :)

so.. Have some questions.. Have been pouring over the Autoelectric stuff.. Noticed Bob says that an OFF/LEFT/RIGHT/BOTH/START ignition key will not control an electronic ignition system, and the two dipole switches with push-to-start is required.

is this true!? I was kinda keen on the key switch for security.. Nearly drilled the hole. I plan to install dyual pmags.
Next question... Does anyone have an SD-8 alternator, and can confirm wheher
