Hi,
I am in the process of bolting the upper wing fittings, and am a bit surprised at how the front flying wires clevis do interfere with the front splice plate (rear spar).
According to the plans I think I understand (and think have seen on flying Pitts) that some slots will have to be made to accomodate, but I didn't realise they would not only affect the filler material but some of the front splice plate as well (admittedly not a lot, but still...), which feels weird to say the least.
Is this accurate or did I misinterpret something ?
Thanks !
Xav
