During the annual inspection I found the air filter of my Eagle almost completely blocked with dirt. (Two layers of wire mesh with paper in between). Seems that the former owner did not clean or replace it for years. Tried to clean it, but are not happy with theresult.

Would like to replaceit with a brackett filter assembly. But wich one will fit? My IA suggests to use a C172 assembly which might?? have the same size than the old Aviat filter.

Has anybody used a bracket assembly on his Eagle?
or which filter assembly will fit?

Thanks for your help
Mike
