Anyone aware of any other method of borescoping a Lycoming engine camshaft for corrosion other than pulling a cylinder or two off?

I know it's not a big deal to pull a cylinder and look inside so don't need any of that advice.......looking to do a pre-buy for a friend of mine and the engine has 470 hrs in 30 years, I'm curious about cam corrosion due to the low time, and I'm not sure how the seller will react to a request to pull a couple jugs.

Thanks,
