Ok,
the drawings for wings on a S-1-11B show a cross brace of say 10.6 with 45 degree angled ends. Is the 10.6 on the long side, short side or down the middle before cutting? it doesnt seem to specify and I assuming I am missing some convention here.
On the ev-400 epoxy varnish, it says: "Epoxy varnish may be applied with any spray equipment rated for laquer or enamel. Flooding spray or brush coats will cause crawling and cratering over old finishes or dry first coats on new wood."
So this sounds like spray is the only acceptable method for application but searching around here it sounds like most brush it on. Also I was planning to use pipe cleaners for going down the bolt holes. Is brushing really a bad thing and what doesnt it mean to have a dry coat?
thanks.
